Innes Lounge reviews
At last I have found a first class therapy lounge that is very much worth it within central London. I have sampled every massage on their extensive menu and would strongly recommend the head massage - by any of their excellent therapists. Service at The Innes Lounge is always impeccable, plus their post-spa experience cleverly adds that perfect touch. This haven in Mayfair has definitely been my discovery of the decade.

I highly recommend the 60 minute aromatherapy massage (£75.00) by Japanese therapist Kiyoka. After I selected massage pressure 'Weak/Relaxing' (the other two options were 'Medium' and 'Strong/Deep'), Kiyoka talked me through the essential oils, creating a special blend which was tailored to relax me. The pressure was just right, and I would definitely go back again. And just as I was wondering whether it would be safe to put my clothes on over the remnants of the oils, I was handed a piping hot towel, which was amazing!
There were several things that slightly spoiled the experience though. My massage was delayed by 15 minutes, although the receptionist did apologise for this (5 minutes after my appointment). The treatments take place in screened off sections of a very large basement area, meaning that the pummelling by a therapist and the mobile phone ringing of another client could be heard very clearly. The upstairs reception area was not at all relaxing, given that there was a pub directly opposite and it felt like everyone was staring into the reception.
So to sum up, I would have given the massage 5 out of 5, but because of the overall experience, Innes Lounge gets a 4 from me.
