It was a sad day when my kids said "Not the one you made mummy, the other one", when asked if they wanted some birthday cake. I had 2 - one I made and the other from you. I know my cakes will never visually match up to yours, but hit the gin upon discovering my kids actually thought your cakes were better... So, maybe it's time to stop trying to be a domestic goddess as well as manage all the other chores (ie. taxi driver/cleaner/therapist/run my own business) and give in because, let's face it, your cakes are FANTASTIC, THE BEST AND TASTE HOMEMADE!! Mmmmm...
