Look luscious in a lunch hour with one of Groom's signature hour treatments. Created for those with a hectic lifestyle, hour treatments require two therapists to work on every client. Using a carefully choreographed routine, they deliver multiple treatments (facials, manicures and pedicures) within an hour. Groom is renowned for its innovative treatments and tasteful natural product range. As well as the Beauchamp Place salon, Groom can be found in Selfridges.

I recently went to Groom in
Selfridges. I had a manicure there and, whilst it was adequate, I can't say it blew me away. The nail technician didn't speak the best English, so we had a communication problem. She didn't manage to shape my nails exactly how I'd asked. The result was fairly neat and it did last, but I wouldn't go back as I can get a better (slightly cheaper) manicure elsewhere. I have, however, added an extra point for the lovely, friendly, helpful receptionist!

I've been visiting Groom in
Selfridges for over a year now. I don't have much time, and don't want to traipse round London looking for 'glowing' skin, a perfect manicure or tidy brows. I was delighted the first time I walked into Groom - it's light airy and unfussy, the staff are smiley, knowledgeable and efficient and I left feeling like I'd spent the day in a spa. I'd recommend it to anyone.

I really like Groom and have gone back a few times now for the 'For Her Eyes Only' hour. It's functional rather than luxurious (with linen partitions separating the treatment areas rather than walls, you hear every word of conversation in the different rooms!) and I wouldn't choose to have a massage or facial here for that reason, but mani/pedi and waxing treatments are fine. I think the best thing about this place is the speed that you can be in and out with two therapists working on you at once.
