Koh Samui reviews
Love Love Love! Beautiful hand-picked pieces. Sigh... if only every store was so thoughtful.

This is my all-time favourite shop. They always have such a wonderful choice of clothes, accessories and vintage. I’ve always found the staff very friendly and they really know their stuff. If you need that something special for a party, I can’t think of anywhere better in London. Also check out their website - I’ve used it and my gift arrived promptly and beautifully packaged.

I absolutely love this shop! The collections never fail to disappoint from season to season. The staff have always been helpful and have gone out of their way to help me on a number of occasions. My favourite thing would have to be the way the clothes are grouped together - to me it is magical.

I have to completely disagree with the last two comments. I have been a customer at Koh Samui for a good few years, as have a lot of my friends. You always find something unique and different in Koh Samui. They stock the best pieces from some of the top collections, as well as supporting up and coming, new, exciting designers.I have got the most amazing, attention-grabbing jewellery from there too. It's like an Aladdin's cave!
As for the staff, they are very polite and helpful without being at all pushy, and they definitely know their stuff. I think they generate a happy and relaxed atmosphere.
Also, I have exchanged items in the past with absolutely no trouble at all, and a credit note is valid for an entire year - not many places offer that!

I agree with previous reviews about the staff: moody, clueless, rude. I also tried to return a faulty garment and they tried every trick not to take it back. The stock is also looking very tired these days.

The vibe at Koh Samui is not particularly nice. One gets the feeling none of the staff get along paticularly well. Shopping in a hostile environment is just not fun!

Koh Samui has been a gem of a shop ever since it opened back in the early 90s. Original, eccletic and bang on the button every season, it never fails to disappoint. Not only do they stock items from Marc Jacobs, Chloe, Dries, Matthew Williamson and Balenciaga, but have also got an incredible range of top-end vintage all mixed in. As a matter of fact, I have just bought my gorgeous vintage wedding dress from here. No matter what other shops you visit when in London, make sure you make this top of your list - it's a jewel! And what's more, the staff are welcoming and informative too.

I have stocked my jewellery at Koh Samui for the past two years and admire the manager for giving up-and-coming designers a chance to show their work in a top boutique in London. The staff are always very friendly and helpful.

I used to work in the store some time ago. The story about zero chance of exchanging items is just not true. The amount of stuff that they are willing to exchange, repair and alter is beyond normal. The manager has over 20 years of experience in fashion. I still admire the shop and always pop in, only to find out that the new girls are enthusiastic and fashion savvy. I always leave with a new idea for my wardrobe.

A friend of mine designed a dress and Mariah Carey wore it for a photoshoot. It was sold in Koh Samui. I suppose it is true what they say about them helping up-and-coming designers. Well done!

Staff so unhelpful. Horrible manager. Stay away from the shop. If you buy, there is zero chance that they will exchange or give you a credit note, even if it is their stated policy to do so.

Oh my god... I have been to this shop so many times, I can't even count! They have the most amazing clothes, so unique in every way.

Possibly the greatest thing in London. Definitely a treasure chest of individual pieces.

I found the most beautiful dress there. I have never seen anything like it anywhere else. This shop is a completely unique boutique.

The best shop ever. Its location next to Poste Mistress (great shoe shop) makes it a one-stop mecca. Love it. Great bags, jewellery, funky pieces and classics.

Very pleased as have managed to find lovely dress for friend's wedding after hours scouring usual shops.
Staff was friendly and helpful without being pushy and, as the shop supports up and coming designers, the price wasn't as high as the more established names. Fantastic!

Koh Samui is my favourite shop in London. The staff are friendly & approachable and always in the know with regards to what's new and in fashion. They have the best pieces from each collection, favourites include Dries Van Noten, Balenciaga, Vanessa Bruno, Matthew Williamson & Chloe.

All things beautiful. Interesting pieces and the most exquisite Victoria Grant hats I've ever seen. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. A gem of a boutique.

Great selection for a small shop and particularly good sales. Have found helpfulness of staff variable and their returns policy is less generous than most shops.
