Successor to the old Brasserie St Quentin and the Brompton Grill before that, 'Knightbridge's local bistro' has quite a history. Not surprisingly then, despite its smart modern look (long zinc-covered bar, walls lined with raffish cartoon art), Brompton Bar & Grill has an air of establishment. There is much to commend it though, not least the straightforward, unpretentious and reasonably-priced-for-the-area menu. Handily situated for the South Ken museums too.

Brompton Bar & Grill reviews



I have had the great pleasure of eating here twice, and each time has been a thoroughly enjoyable occasion. Food is superb and customer service is out of this world. Would highly recommend people give it a try. Despite its location, prices are reasonable and, from my own experience, having dined there when the 'great & good' were also dining, ordinary people are treated no differently - which certainly makes a change from some London establishments!
