The meat is excellent quality, but the 'service with a smile' is rather thin on the ground. I am heading there again tomorrow so who knows, I might catch them on a good day!

Every time I buy meat from Hesters our guests remark on how fabulous it is. The rib of beef joint is fantastic, in fact any roast meat is great.
Price is also extremely competitive. Reject Tescos / Sainsburys quality, reject Borough prices, get to Hesters.

Diverse and excellent choice of meat, all well prepared. Customer service isn't one of their strong points... if you don't mind a bad-tempered butcher, it's well worth a visit!
