Located on the ground floor of the Boundary building in Shoreditch, the Albion is one of three eateries on the site. With a menu serving up hearty British café fare such as Welsh rabbit and Irish stew, pies and fish and chips, diners at the Albion can enjoy traditional comfort foods in hip, modern surroundings. Adjacent to the café is a bakery and shop selling British food and drink.
Albion reviews
Visited many times, and it's reliably good. Very homely touches, like old-looking cutlery in empty treacle tins, proper sugar bowls and teapots instead of catering-issue sugar cubes and tinny, piddly teapots. Food's good, and at times borders on faultless. Prices sensible. But... service can be painfully slow at times, though I'd say that's the only drawback.

Very nice atmosphere and good quality food, drinks and products. Crowd is relaxed yet stylish. Café area has wifi and some tables with electric sockets. As it is open until late it's ideal if you need to work with a laptop and prefer doing so in cafés in the evening.

Visited here once for brunch on a sunny Sunday. Busy and lively atmosphere, great food and great little deli/shop on the side. Would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area - a breath of fresh air to Shoreditch.

Had an juicy steak with thick-cut, double-fried chips and marrow. Tasty. Nice place - simple, diner style service with great British produce and friendly staff.

What a great place this is. The food was excellent. It's great to find a place selling British food.
