Apropos Harry C's comments re Paul, so true. Mediocre, pseudo-French stodge dressed up as haute patisserie. A humble boulanger in some dive in Strasbourg-St Denis could run rings round it.

It's not bad here, just could be better. The bread's decent and the sweets are above average. As for badgergirl's comments below, Paul is a factory-style, Starbucks-type breadmill. You really shouldn't be reviewing food if you think Paul sells quality produce.

Okay, but there's a Paul round the corner.

Small but beautiful, great snacks and fantastic breads and cakes. Flour-less almond cake and brownies are the BEST.

I never ever eat bread from a supermarket now, simply some of the best bread available, but yes you will have to get there early, they are pretty popular.

Unfortunately got here too late, seems like its a early bird bakery. Range of breads seemed to be limited.
