Great food. Rather pricey too, but I think it's very good value nontheless.

I love the food there... for take-away! Don't like the space downstairs - usually packed with screaming babies. Also, prices are that of a good restaurant, which is a bit frustrating. But I still buy it.

The food is excellent for takeaway, in particular the cakes and salads. Pricey but worth it!

No toilets... never mind, it's a small place maybe. But they had no ice either... maybe they have no space for that too? Overall experience was okay, but food wasn't that great.

Whoever thought that transparent loo doors was a good idea got it very wrong. It puts me off. Everything else was excellent... just change the doors please!

Came across this restaurant by accident. What a find. The display of food just inside the door was out of this world - who in their right mind could walk away? The food was exceptional - tasty, fresh, exactly the right sized portions and looked beautiful. Will be returning on my next visit to London.

We went for afternoon tea but I had salad and a cake and it was lovely. I do agree the service was rather abrupt and this is a down side. The food was great and the place is very quirky. I have been to the one in Islington before and had fantastic service.

I disagree with the previous comment. The service is fine and there is NO SERVICE CHARGE.

The only reason that Ottolenghi is not Great (5) is the service. The ambiance and the food is excellent. The service on the four occasions I have eaten there has been rude and condescending. If this bothers you then I recommend you make a visit and take-away (particularly the cakes). The food is worth the appalling service but once they start adding the service-charge to the bill I will probably stay away from the restaurant part.

Delicious snacks to take away. And so much healthier than most 'prepared' food. However, it's not cheap and there's hardly any space so it's not much use as a cafe. The Ottolenghi in Islington has much more space, is open in the evening and serves the same lovely dishes.

Amazing food! Takeaway only really, as there is a communal table stuffed at the back that is always full at lunch time. Everything is good!

The food is simply delicious. Rather busy on the weekends, so almost impossible to get a seat. Definitely try their cakes and sweets, they are amazing.
