Pâtisserie Valérie reviews
I made the mistake of ordering my wedding cake from them. They are dishonest and it was a total rip-off. I specifically ordered a 50 portion cake and at the wedding there wasn't enough cake for everyone. The size of the cake was significantly smaller. I previously ordered the same cake for my engagement party and I expected a similar size but it wasn't. When I complained, the manager accused me of lying and was extremely rude! She also didn't respond in a timely manner.
Please do not trust them for wedding cake orders or other important occasions.

I remember my first visit to the original Patisserie Valerie with a friend and established devotee some years ago. We had Croque Monsieur followed by the most divine doughnut I've ever tasted. Filled with custard and a glorious film of icing sugar on the outside. It changed my life. I have been there many times since and despite owning copies of the London Cafe Book I and II, I still love to visit Patisserie Valerie. Its cakes and tarts and ambiance are unsurpassed. Happy sinful eating.
