A very good shop with a fine selection of cheese. Helpful staff who display a good knowledge of their products. Keep it up!

Excellent, helpful staff. Good choice, better than Harrods.

A very fine cheese shop with good and knowledgeable staff. Best to visit midweek, as Saturday, esp mornings can be very busy. Look out for the pickled garlic!

While this shop has some unusual and useful items which make it occasionally convenient to pop into when shopping on the Northcote Road I always do so with some trepidation and it is the one shop there that I avoid if I can when doing my weekly round. I mean who do these people think they are? They are far from being the best cheese shop in London and while they do have a good selection of cheeses they do not tend them very well. They do not look after their cheeses properly. I do not find the staff either friendly, polite or helpful -in fact quite the contrary, and I question if they really love cheese or whether it just suits them to exploit the niche market they have carved out for themselves.

Usually they are good, but I was served an unripe cheese by a new salesman despite asking whether it was ready for a dinner party that evening. Be warned.

Excellent staff and well kept cheese. Only downside is that it is so popular there is often a big queue on Saturdays.

The cheeses they have are not bad and seem well looked after, but the selection didn't seem that great and there was a slight feeling of 'needing to sell you something'.
