Went there for some picnic supplies. I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. They encouraged us to taste champagne and were helpful in selecting a wine to pair with our meal, despite us only wanting to pay £5 for a bottle. Cheese was divine!

by JemiPie (7 reviews), 24 Nov 2006Having gone in on a Saturday for a brief look around, we ended up chatting to the wine manager, Alan, for half an hour, enjoying a glass of their wine on tasting and getting some fantastic recommendations for our engagement party drinks function. The party was a hit and their range is unbeatable... and the service was outstanding and free of pointless "wine banter" that you can get from so many of the other merchants in London.
