Phoenix Palace reviews
The food is really good and the environment nice, although service can be slow sometimes. Miles better than Chinatown (much more pleasant atmosphere) and Royal China (much better food).

The food is very good and it's probably the best Chinese restaurant I have been to; however, the service could be improved.

I have eaten here a lot, being British Chinese and finding the general standard of Chinatown restaurants quite low. The decor is nice and traditional, but the service somewhat indifferent. It used to be better, but on recent visits it's been a bit offhand. The food is good though, with standard Cantonese dishes, and I wouldn't be ashamed to take friends or family here. Overall, miles better than Chinatown and just below Royal China standards.

I live in Dorset House, just above Phoenix Palace, and I still think it's the best Chinese ever. I love their dim sum menu.

I go there with my friends to celebrate birthdays and think it is absolutely great.

Fantastic Chinese restaurant. The dim sums are mouth watering and the service is excellent, too. Only Chinese around my neighborhood that deliver. Possibly the best Chinese take-away also.
