Phoenix Palace reviews
The food is very good and it's probably the best Chinese restaurant I have been to; however, the service could be improved.
by Marie Christelle, 12 Sep 2007I have eaten here a lot, being British Chinese and finding the general standard of Chinatown restaurants quite low. The decor is nice and traditional, but the service somewhat indifferent. It used to be better, but on recent visits it's been a bit offhand. The food is good though, with standard Cantonese dishes, and I wouldn't be ashamed to take friends or family here. Overall, miles better than Chinatown and just below Royal China standards.
