Charbonnel et Walker reviews
Some of the most unique English flavours ever coated in wonderful chocolate, and lovely helpful staff.

A wonderful visit to Charbonnel et Walker after a gap of nearly 6 years, following a visit to their neighbour Ormonde Jayne! The violet cremes are even better and more delicious than I remembered them. You can really picture this shop one century ago on the corner of Old Bond Street and also see why it has lasted that long. Perfect service and staff and the most luxurious, beautiful keepsake boxes.

Pure heaven! The chocolate is wonderful and the staff are helpful and friendly. You really feel like you've stepped back in time here, to a world away from the cheap chocolate that can be bought everywhere. Lots to savour and enjoy!
Top tip: I like to stop off here on the way to the theatre and pick up a couple of chocolates for the interval. If you are meeting friends, a single well chosen chocolate makes a thoughtful gift.

The champagne truffles are the best I have ever tasted,
they start smooth and then explode with the tingle of champagne, perfect. Also try the pink champagne ones!
