Rex Cinema / Bar reviews
I went to Rex Cinema/Bar not too long ago to watch Burn After Reading before it came out. The venue is small but it has a cool vibe. It's a members only club, so you can only get in after 10.00 if you're not part of the club. The drinks are delicious, though a bit on the pricey side.

I went to Rex for my 21st birthday. I hired the venue out and filled it with just under 200 of my friends. The staff were so attentive and did everything they could to make sure I had everything that my guests and I wanted.

Great music, great drinks, great people! I'll definitely go back. Just make sure you get on the guest list or go with a member or you won't get in.

I think it was perfect. I went with my hubby and you can have a few drinks and a chat before more people arrive. I would def go again and I really liked the doormen, they were not like others, 'they had a smile'.

Love this gorgeous, intimate venue. My two favourite things to do are having a cocktail and watching a movie. So lovely to be able to do both at once here!

Absolutely dreadful. Overpriced, cramped, ugly, and downright tatty! Avoid at all costs.

Depends on what you like. My impression is that it's a friendly and cosy place if you can bring your own company. But if you prefer a bigger mainstream crowd, then find somewhere bigger.

Joined recently and received great service. Love the cinema, and music is excellent. Only drawback is size - go with a few good pals, not a big party!

Excellent venue. Friendly, welcoming team, great drinks and fantastic cinema. Always a good night out! I don't understand what the last reviewer means by a tourist trap, the place was full of affluent London media types.

Dreadful place. Extortionate drink prices, no air-conditioning, grotty toilets and far too small.

Went with some friends on the off chance. Was an experience; nice and relaxed but can dance too although dancefloor is tiny! Didn't see any famous faces though I didnt go for that. Lovely atmosphere, drink price extortionate but expected - it's London!

I'm a member of Rex and each time I go there I have a great time. Bar staff are friendly, as are the guys on the door. They make you feel welcome. Sure the drinks are pricey but it's definitely all worth it.

Incredible place! I went there to watch a movie with my wife. Cocktails afterwards in the lounge. This underground venue is one of London's finest.

A place that offers the latest cinema releases in a state-of-the-art private 75 seater cinema, with free entry for you and 3 mates as well, while being centrally located and open until 3am. What more could you ask for?
The only thing it needs now is for the membership fee to drop back to £150 from £250 and it would be one of the best cinema/bar venues to go to in London!
