I was invited to dinner here for the Heston Blumenthal Experience. I was sceptical it would be much more than a standard meal at an expensive hotel restaurant, but it was really good. A special vegetarian menu was laid on and it was fabulous. Recommended if you can afford it.

Dining of the top variety. Was treated by our daughter for my wife's 46th birthday. The food was to die for (as well as being reasonably priced) and the service exceptional. The chef's very talented; we were told he was from Australia (though his food definitely wasn't off the barby!). A must-visit on our next trip to the capital.

I always stay at this hotel when I visit London. The hotel's great service is only surpassed by its bar's amazing cocktails. This hotel has been extremely accommodating to my many times demanding and erratic business schedules. Best business hotel in London.

The marble foyer is simply stunning! I had family stay here for 6 months while their flat was getting redone and they were treated like kings. Some of the staff are a bit cold - not rude, just cold; however, on the whole, this is a great hotel. The mid-range restaurant inside, called 'The Park,' is great value, while the bar draws huge crowds.

I've stayed here twice and visited the restaurant, bar and spa on separate occasions.
It's a great place to stay with the same high standards of service that you'd find in other Mandarin Oriental hotels around the world. Much of the hotel is slightly more traditional than their other hotels due to the age of the building, but I think this adds to the charm.
The spa treatments are great, as is the bar and Foliage. Food in the rest of the hotel is pretty good too.
Of course the best thing about this hotel is the location with Hyde Park behind and Harvey Nicks and the rest of Knightsbridge literally opposite. I think there are more interesting hotels in London, but if I were visiting from abroad and wanted to be close to the shops and museums, this would be my first choice.
