Have been a few times before on Wednesdays and had some really good nights, so thought we would give Saturday a try. It was amazing! The DJ was unreal, one of the best I have heard in a long time. We had to wait in the queue for a while as it was quite busy, but it was well worth it. I can see myself spending a lot of Saturday nights here with my friends in the future.

Used to visit Chinawhite whilst it was still on Air Street EVERY Wednesday and loved it; never had any problems and always had free entry and table with some events girls.

Decided to go last night as some friends had VIP passes and put the rest of us on a guestlist. After waiting over an hour in the queue we were told that we couldn't go in because no boys were allowed on our guestlist! The girls behind us were on the same guestlist but were told it didn't even exist! We were asked to cross the road and realised a pattern: they were letting in mainly white blonde chicks wearing hoochie outfits! Bar the odd Asian or black person with a group of white friends, anyone non-Caucasian was refused entry for no apparent reason. I hope someone sues their pretentious management for their clearly racist entry criteria!

What a terrible club! Went there for a 21st from Southampton, only to queue for half hour and then be told we had to get in the other queue to wait for an extra 45 mins... After which the Cruella de Vil door lady informed us we were not going in and she was not giving us a reason - even though we were on the guest list!?

Disgraceful place. Didn't even go inside - and I'm glad! Do not go there!!

Love Love LOVE this place! Food is good but the only place to be is the club.

If I could, I wouldn't give it even one star... We wanted to celebrate a birthday party there and were on the guestlist with a table reservation. However, we ended up waiting outside in the cold for 1 hour because there were "too many men in the club". Would you want to celebrate your birthday party there with only half of your friends allowed in? And this after the door lady was shouting at them to step back and talking to them like they were dogs. Pffff! Unbelievable! Never ever again!!

Music was great, Martinis were even better (although a bit pricey). Plenty of hot chicks. Definitely going back.

I went on Saturday. Amazing, amazing, amazing!! Lots of famous people... well, sort of famous - some girls from The Saturdays and some fit footballers! I had to queue for 30 minutes but it was worth it and I really didn't want to go home at 3:30. Didn't go to the last one but if it was as good as this I wish I had! I am definitely going again.

Friends, it is always the same situation all over the world. The key point is: if you don't know the place, just don't go there. It is same for all the top clubs in New York, Rome, Berlin, Amsterdam, Tokyo or Istanbul. If you know the people in there, you'll be treated like VIP; but if you're a first timer, make yourself ready for the attitude. So don't make your Saturday night a nightmare, just go to clubs and bars that you know.

One star's way too much. Unbelievable!

Was dining with four until the restaurant closed and we decided to take a look at the club downstairs. We moved to the VIP area but after a quick cigarette outside were not allowed re-entry, when we had just ordered and paid for bubbles inside.

After a lot of unbelievable verbal abuse from the doormonkeys and a 45 minute argument, we were finally able to grab our coats. Do yourself a favour and don't EVER think about going there. What a joke!

China Shite more like. Save you money and go to a decent club like Movida. Music was rubbish and they had run out of beer by 9:30pm. Avoid!!

6 things about Chinawhite:

1.If you don’t have money, don’t go.
2.If you didn’t book, don’t go (booking starts at £200 min consumption per table for 4 people).
3.If you don’t like exclusive clubs, don’t go.
4.If you want to be treated better, buy the £700 membership for a year.
5.If you like Tiger Tiger clubs, don’t even think about this club.
6.However, if you have class, money, like exclusiveness and love dressing fancy in a nice atmosphere with amazing music, GO TO CHINAWHITE - it's a top club!!

I've been to Chinawhite on many occasions and have always had a great time. I've been to many clubs in the West End and China still remains my favourite. Sure, I agree it can get a bit crowded but so do most clubs and it's actually bigger than most in the West End. The drinks are the same as everywhere else, sometimes cheaper. Yes, sure, the bouncers aren't always friendly. But once you're in, the night is what you make it. The decor is lush, the music good (with two rooms to choose from), and the people just want to have a good time. Like I said, a night is what you make it, but China is a good base for a fab night!

Overrated - a case of 'the Emperor's new clothes'. The only good thing I have to say about it is that it has nice decor. It is small (two rooms). On the night I went (a Saturday), one room was playing house and the other r'n'b. It was impossible to dance, as it was soooo crowded - it was like standing on a crowded tube... not how I want to spend my Saturday night! To add to that, the music was very bland - in fact, just plain boring - and in the room with the house it was uncomfortably loud. Entry was £20, and drinks were expensive (Sambucca £9, cheapest small white wine and a gin and tonic was £12). The clientele were as bland and dull as the music and included a lot of Paris Hilton wannabes (at least this was funny).

I can understand being excited by this place if you are about 18, but I think its older fans need to get out more. There's more fun to be had - and 100% more atmosphere - in my local bar/club.

I have been many times, on different nights of the week, and have never had a bad night. It's a great London club and has been for many years now. They have managed to maintain a brilliant environment in which to feel great and dance the whole night.

Am impressed by the club's temperature control. You know how it is, you go out looking 'hot', then after a dance in some clubs you get so hot and sweaty, and it's not a great thing when you wanna look sexy. However, the aircon or fans here certainly work, because it's always packed yet I never get too overheated.

Not sure what clubs some of these reviewers below have been going to, but it's clearly not been Chinawhite. How wrong can they be? Probably one of the strongest and most established London nightclub brands and it shows as soon as you walk through the doors. WIth three very different rooms all on one floor, even the most fussy clientele is going to be satisfied. A great mix of Asian decor and exciting cocktails. Wednesday night is a must - friendly staff and filled with people who all just want to have a good time!

It may have been trendy about 5 years ago, but now it's just full of desperate wannabes. Go somewhere else.

The worst club I have ever been to.

Ohh my god, an absolutely awful place. No problems getting in (£20 each) although we weren't on the guest list, but as we got downstairs we hit rude, arrogant people who were pushing and yelling. It was packed - no room for a dance, and you couldn't even get to the toilet without a drink being spilt all over you or a girl pushing her way through or a guy touching you... What a terrible experience. God help everyone if there's ever a fire. We got our money back. I recommend Club de Paris - we had a great time there. Good luck!

Definitely rubbish - that's the only word I could use for this so-called 'posh' pub in Soho. Very rude security guards at the entrance. One of them actually pushed one of my friends at the door and asked him to leave for no satisfactory reason; he even refused to apologise despite our requests. It was a Saturday night, we'd booked ourselves on to the guest list for our friend's farewell party (poor guy), and after we'd been queueing for 30 mins they suddenly came to ask us to go, saying they have to reserve places for their own members. For god's sake, why didn't they say earlier or turn down reservations on the phone?!

Absolutely agree with all the negative comments which have been made on this forum. If you don't want to ruin your night out, just don't try this one.

There's a lot of desperate girls craving attention. Gary Lucy was in there when I went and there were girls throwing themselves at him - pretty sad! It was really expensive for drinks. Personally, I think it'd be much better to go to a local pub to get pissed than waste money in here!
