I've been to Fabric so many times, and it is a great club, BUT, they always have the same line up with the same DJs it seems. Quite a 'rigid' club, especially the way Friday is ALWAYS drum and bass night and Saturday is house. They could be a bit more flexible. Craig Richards plays every Saturday and has been playing for AGES there. I downloaded some of his stuff and was not overly wowed. There are some fantastic UK artists that Fabric doesn't host... like, for example, Alex Smoke.

Fabric is an addiction! DJs bring along a dirty industrial bag of beats week in week out and pump 'em out on that mammoth system. The place is tremendous and wipes the floor with any other club on the planet. With Richards in control of room 1 most weeks, you can't beat a good old night on the BEATS!

I cannot believe that people have slated this club! Fabric was the first club I ever went to in London, so OK I have been totally spoilt, but no other club comes near. (I completely agree with previous comments about The End and their appalling sound system.) Fabric has got everything you need - outstanding music and sound system, wicked atmosphere (on a Saturday night that is), friendly staff (especially the door supervisors), clean facilities, and who can beat the stairs? Yes it can be crowded but, like it has been said, later into the morning, when only the hard core lot are still loving it, there's plenty of room to dance and I've never seen anything but smiles. I have never had a bad night here and wouldn't go anywhere else! Love it!!

Cannot believe how crowded this place is. I have been here twice now (along with all the tourists) and the problem with crowding is something that really needs to be addressed. Even if they doubled it in size it would still be the same, because most of the people that queue don't even get in.

If you love the music, then it's worth going. But if you're looking to go and meet people or be part of a good crowd, think again. Most people are on drugs, so you generally cannot relate to a lot of them just because they are off their faces. (And yes, I have had my moments too... I suppose you notice it more when you give up.) The crowd is more or less friendly though, and gets better after 3am when the beer boys go home to bed.

A big tip of mine is to stick with your mates at all times. If you lose them you won't be finding them for a long time, as they will be washed away by the stream of people. If you're hoping for a good spot on the dancefloor, forget it - impossible task. Also, generally expect queues for everything in Fabric: cloakrooms, toilets, dancefloors, drinks... the list goes on.

Despite all of this, the club has incredible line-ups, music, lighting, layout. In fact, all the ingredients to be the best in the world. But due to the one major problem of overcrowding, it's not in my personal top 5 in the UK. I'd even go as far as to say that I haven't really enjoyed it here because of all the pushing and shoving. Maybe it's a sign of my age, at 25, that I no longer have the attitude to make this club my own. Not sure... Do the owners really care about this issue?

Fabric is most definitely a club for discerning clubbers. While a lot of London's clubs are going with this new 'minimal/tech/electro' uprising, Fabric keeps it real - that is, for the people, by the people. There is no dress code, unlike other pretentious clubs asking you to do the 'Shoreditch or Camden look' - whatever that is...

People who appreciate their music frequent this club. Yes, it is touristy - everybody has heard of Fabric, who wouldn't want to go? And yes, it is full of people on drugs. However there is a zero tolerance policy and in spite of drug use being quite brazen in Fabric, there have been many dealers finding themselves on the wrong side of the doorstaff there. Who, I should add, are a truly professional bunch and are damn good at their jobs. They are all SIA licensed and regulated and very polite considering the dribbling messes they have to endure for 9+ hours a night.

The DJ line ups are unsurpassed, week in week out, so dont be too put off by the bar prices. Think of a £20 round as an investment - after all, if you can get through the door before 11pm on a Sasha night you've contributed to his pay for that set! The layout is spot-on, lights and sound system are the best in the world.

The crowd is always up for it and friendly. Yes there are a few pests, but if you're a girl who can handle herself and isn't intimidated easily, you will be fine. There are posters around the venue requesting you report any behaviour that upsets you - the club does take the wellbeing of its patrons very seriously.

Believe the hype and get yourself down to Fabric. Then, try the other clubs in London and compare for yourself.

Yep, I'd like to join the Fabric fan club! Staff are very pleasant and the music is amazing, fantastic, brilliant etc. You meet really nice people there, who aren't just out to use you. If you're lucky, you can get a mineral water for free. One really annoying thing though, there's always a BIG queue to smoke. Apart from that, I love the place and will be back for sure.

I went to Fabric for the first time last Friday and it was nuts! Nothing can beat the hyped-up crowd and the loved-up atmosphere. A must go!

Absolutely massive! Great sound system, OK door staff, big name performers and just a great night out overall. D'n'B room is hilarious! One bad thing is that you have to queue for ages to get in on a big night and sometimes you can't get in before door closing time, so make sure you get there at around 8:30pm-9:00pm when there is a big night on. It's worth it.

A place that has gotten it perfect. Staff are lovely, DJs are the best in the world, it's moderately priced, venue is incredible, and the crowd is friendly and ready to dance till the sun comes up. This is by far the best club in London and easily top 3 in the world. Beats those pretentious society clubs (Mo*vida, Paper, Cuckoo) by miles and other dance clubs simply cannot feasibly compete. Can guarantee this place will give you one of the best nights of your life.

Wicked sound system, wicked lasers, which all add to the heart-thumping music. Went to a d'n'b night at The End which, to be honest, somewhat disappointed me. The bass tired my ears and the music seemed repetitive towards the end of the night. However, this is certainly not the case in Fabric. When the beat drops, the atmosphere and lasers combine to make you want the night to last forever.

Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, can touch it. Every other club in London could close and I would be happy as long as Fabric stayed open. The staff, sound system, venue, people, and music policy (which is genius) are really and truly on another level.

Was voted second best club in the world (by DJ magazine) and "by far" the best club in the UK. That says it all really; it's on another level, plain and simple. The atmosphere is electric and is a MUST for any clubber.

Staggeringly, mindblowingly good. The music policy is the stuff of legends and the sound system shakes you to your very core. Only problem is, it makes every other clubbing experience obsolete... even Turnmills and The End pale in comparison. Drinks are pricey too - £3.80 for a Stella, (though after a hard night of clubbing nothing hits the spot better!).

I've been several times to the D&B nights on Fridays and the techno nights on Saturdays, and even found myself in there on gay night on a Sunday after trying Turnmills and not liking it. Basically, as clubs go, it has the best sound system, with a good mix of music styles and DJs. It also has great lights and an underground feel. The only negative things are the long queues (sometimes) and the expensive drinks (though I'm usually drinking water all night).

Half the people in there don't have a clue... they came expecting Ministry of Sound and what they got was an underground rave. If you're into the latter however, you'll have the time of your life.

Don't come here on a Friday if you don't like breaks or drum 'n' bass or if you're going to just stand on the dance floor, get out and give the true music lovers and ravers some more room! Ladies, don't come expecting to scam men for drinks or pull - stick to the West End for that please. This is the best club in London.

All about the music on a Saturday. Really evident loads of effort goes in to getting the line ups, week after week. Other clubs in London just can't pull that off more than a couple of times a year! Only problem is overcrowding, but this is not a problem limited only to Fabric, it's everywhere.

Best club in London. Some people complain about the pushing and shoving, but when you're in the zone in the middle of the dance floor with your body in a trance, nothing is better.

Many come expecting to hate it and end up having the time of their lives! After my first go, I got a membership and now I'm there almost every weekend.

Just go crazy once you're inside - no one cares because everyone else is going crazy. A great way to release that stress! Just remember, it is a rave... you will get pushed, pulled, and stepped on. Also, a lot of the crowd is E'd up to their eyeballs, so everyone is super friendly!
