Silver reviews
Staff rude, too expensive, music very poor (funky my ass), rich twats who ain't cool... Carbon Bar any day of the week.

I was frankly unimpressed by my experience here. The main doorman seemed like a nice chap, which was refreshing, but the hostess was unconvincing as a human being (if she is going to be responsible for the guest list she at least needs to be able to read).
Once inside, found it was just another generic bar/club with slightly above average music. The people were OK, though it was a bit pretentious. I don't understand people who wear sunglasses and hands free phone kits in clubs. We had a couple of tables and access to the VIP area and so stayed around until it became too crowded to tollerate. VIP area was OK but SO not worth the money...
If you support places like this, more will be created. Don't do it; go to a real club, there are enough of them in London.

I went to Silver a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday. I was quite apprehensive, as I'd read the bad reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. The doormen were lovely and full of jokes, and even though there was a queue (I assume these people were not on a guest list) we walked straight in.
Once inside, I found the decor nice enough, nothing out of this world but not too bad either. Drinks are quite pricey, but then this is central London and to be expected! The dance floor is a reasonable size, but did get quite full later on. I'm not sure about the table policy, but we met some lovely people who invited us to sit at theirs.
The music was good, fun and with a bit of funk to it. Don't expect groundbreaking mixing - this isn't the place. However, if you're looking for a fun evening with reasonable music, you could do worse.

There seems to be an overriding theme with all these places - the stuck up, rich kids love it and the sensible people see it for what it truly is. Hey, if you like sitting down or standing still and paying over the odds to do so, good for you.

I do agree that this club is better than Movida, but then again it all depends on what you like. Just go there and see for yourself, I think it's definitely worth a visit.

Too stuck-up for my liking! Sleazy people flashing money like there's no tomorrow, trying to be something that they ain't. Way too expensive. I've seen and heard better DJs in places no one in this club would even had heard of because they think they're better than you. What an attitude to have when you go out to enjoy yourself!

Of course everything is a matter of taste, but Silver is definitely not to my taste. If you like places with guys in trainers who think that the vodka bottle on your table is the property of a wider community, then go for it... Absolutely NO class! A total miss.

I totally disagree! Mo*vida is 10 times better - the crowd, the music and the people! Silver is just tacky, the decor inside dreadful and immature (nowhere near high class). It's too small and tends to get boring.

Better than Mo*vida - not nearly as glitzy and a bit more of a posh urban atmosphere than bright and flashy like its sister club. New, but the Mo*vida guys got it right again.
