Tantra Club London (Soho)

The VIP section rules, I would totally go there again and again. The hostesses were gorgeous as other reviews say and I honestly found no problem with the door men, beautiful club with amazing atmosphere and clientele.

Thanks for a great night.

Oh and for those people who complain about the cost of drinks, if you want a cheap night out try your local pub or off-licence, as in life, you get what you pay for, in this case an amazing evening.

I went to Tantra a long time ago, but it's the one club I'd like to visit again. The atmosphere there is fantastic - a lot of beautiful people and great music.

Tantra is amazing! It's the best club I've been to in London. If you really want to enjoy it to the max, you have to get a table, ideally one in the VIP area. The music is just great, the atmosphere is friendly, and I've never experienced bad treatment from the staff. I would definitely recommend it.

The club itself is stunningly beautiful and the music is great (though the dance floor is a bit strange and very small). The only reason I'm rating it so low is because of the staff - vulgar, rude, and so discourteous to people who spend hundreds of pounds in a night there. Who do they think they are? The barman was so obnoxious, and the doormen were actually physically aggressive (I saw a man get pushed by them when he was trying to sort out a table booking which the club had screwed up - it made everyone queuing noticeably uncomfortable). Avoid the place if you don't want to be treated like dirt.

OK, the club is fabulous and the music lifts you no matter how you are feeling. A great club in all aspects but one...

the staff! The doormen were actually aggressive (not to me, but I saw them throw a man in the road) and the arrogance of the bar staff was unbearable.

We had a night out planned at Tantra. We booked tickets and turned up in beautiful clothes and were well-mannered. We were told by the doorman that the manager had refused us entry on the basis that there were too many of us of a certain ethinicity. I think this is absolutely outrageous! Although it's a nice club, is it really somewhere you would want to be, knowing this??

Tantra is a wonderful place but you have to go with a lot of cash or your Black Amex. It's basically a place for beautiful and rich people only. The music is wonderful - lots of dancing. Very flashy and decadent club - loved it.

Tantra is an average club. Drinks are a little pricey but getting in has never been a problem. I thought the staff were nice, especially the security guys. If you want to go, definitely go on a Monday though!

I have to disagree with half of the comments here. Tantra is fabulous!! The music is always good, and it's filled with young, sexy people. It's better to have a young crowd than an older one - who wants 40-year-old perverts hassling you, as in most clubs? If you want an amazing night out then definitely go to Tantra.

I think Tantra is amazing. I had my birthday party there. The price to get in is reasonable: £10 - £20. Drinks are expensive, but that's London. Recommend to anyone with money to burn.

This place is great for hiring out if you are having a work do - we've had several there and the atmosphere/decor is really nice. However, judging by the other reviews it's probably not the kind of place you would want to go for a night out with friends - I probably wouldn't.

There is an inherent imbalance here. You get patted down as you enter the place as if you were 19 years old and then get shown to a table with a cover charge of the cost of a £350 bottle of vodka - available presumably for those patrons with a job with a six figure income.

The music was ok but the service inside was very poor. Maybe the dancing girls would have looked better if they were in cages, too.
