The End reviews
Nice party atmosphere where everybody goes to have an awesome night. Cracking music which, quite frankly, blows your boob tube off every time. The only problem is, I can't afford to go every night. Why would you close such a Mecca?

In response to 'party girl' commenting on 4th Nov, what are you talking about? What exactly do you expect when you go to a night club?? Background music and 'normal' people dressed in banker suits and black shift dresses? I'm not sure what type of clubs you are used to but The End is one of, if not the best, nightclubs in London with amazing DJs. It's the antithesis of a members' club, which sounds more like what you were looking for!
As for terrible music, it really depends on the club night and the DJ playing, so perhaps you should have checked that out before queueing for so long first. Still, that's very subjective, and you can't really judge a venue based on the music you heard by one or two DJs for 1 hour. It's not a part of a high street bar chain, thus is not going to have the same automatic CD spinning out some 'bar grooves'. Anyone who says the music is too loud is, quite frankly, just too old to go clubbing and should go and find a nice quiet bar to sit in instead.

After having read some of the reviews here, my friend and I decided to head to The End last weekend. When we arrived, we first had to wait in line for 40 minutes only to then be greeted by the most unfriendly staff ever. £16 entry fee plus £1.50 for the wardrobe already seemed quite a lot for a normal club, but we hoped it would be worth it.
We went down the stairs and it felt like walking into another universe. 'Weird', 'strange', 'creepy' are the only words than can be used to describe this place! Terrible music, far too loud, creepy people that look like they've come from another planet. We left after an hour! NOT WORTH IT!!

This was the best night out I've had in London. Everyone, including all staff, was friendly and open. The music and dancing were immense. It was not too crowded, drinks were normal London club prices. The crowd were not scary hardcore ravers but instead were actually cool, trendy people. Had a great night and can't wait to go back. However, the night is so long and intense that I don't think I could go every weekend. The entire Sunday was spent trying to recover!

Decent d'n'b night, but the music is so damn loud that it tires your ears by the end of the night. Head to Fabric for a quality d'n'b session that has a heavy bass and a much better sound system.

Loved it! The music was great, different to a lot of other clubs which tend to play the same songs. Drinks a bit expensive, but overall it was a really good night!

Very good, but kind of in the middle between a posh club and a proper rave. Fabric beats it, but it still provides an amazing night out for sure.

Monday's Trash night is immortal. Great music, a slightly pretentious but very young and fashionable crowd, in such a fantastic setting.

Great nightclub, great atmosphere and the sound system is amazing. This is the place to go for anyone who has a half a clue about dance music!

Nice little mid-week-warm-up-for-the-weekend rave spot. Bar staff are friendly, sound system's good and the beats are hard yet mellow - liquid. The only thing stopping me rating it higher is that I like my D'n'B hard and grimy.

The best club in London. Easy, friendly, wicked music and atmosphere especially Layo and Bushwacka nights.

Going back again for sure - nice size crowd, wicked music, comfy sociably-placed chairs, big dance floor, and I didn't get anything nicked! No haughty-taughty attitude from rudies either.
