Sadly won't be returning here since they replaced many of the comfy sofas with tables and horrid hard plastic chairs. So few comfortable chairs left you don't stand a chance getting one. Sorry, won't pay sky high prices to drink in discomfort.

The service at this place is a joke - I've just been sitting at my table for 20 mins before being served. OK selection of beer.

I'm a New Yorker by origin. I therefore understand what good service should be and, believe me, London surely lacks it. 5th View, on the other hand, has always been on good form when I've been in there. Although a bit pricey, they are still less so than my other haunt,
Sketch, and often just as good. If you don't want to wait a few minutes for a decent drink, then go to a pub. Good things take time as they say, so just relax and enjoy it.

Very poor service. We were waiting for our drinks for 40 minutes and finally one of us got whisky and coke without ice and two of us got mojitos without mint. Interesting point is that no one came to take the payment either - we literally forced them to take money. Anyway, this place would suit some kind of quiet evening with book and cuppa, but guys, please stop posing as a bar.
P.S. Don't be attracted by the promised 'view' - only several tables actually have it.

Recently visited this bar with a friend. We ordered cappucino and a latte. When they arrived we couldn't decide which was which, as they looked identical - both cups were filled up with burnt, flat, oversteamed milk. We tried to call our waiter over, but he was too busy chatting in the bar with his fellow workers.
We were about to leave when someone finally came to ask if we are all right, so we sent our coffees back and ordered two soups. The new coffees arrived within 15 minutes, but the waitress informed us that: "Sorry, the kitchen's closed already. They always close on time at 3.00pm", (it was 3.10). So we asked for the bill. That arrived immediately of course, a total of £6.16 rather than 2 x £2.75 = £5.50. Ah yeah baby, 12% service charge... ah yeah...
