Stay away from this absolute hell hole! Went out on a night out with a group of friends, mainly guys, and was not allowed in as door staff said there was not enough females in our group to justify allowing us entry. Then was told it would cost us 3 grand for a table. Born and bred in London, I was told by an East European doorman I could not come in - what a joke! This is what this country is coming to. Stay well clear.

I visited Eclipse South Kensington on Saturday for a birthday party and had a great time. Good service, excellent cocktails, friendly atmosphere, great music. I would definitely recommend. Will go back very soon.

Stood at the bar like a prize lemon and waited to get served for 25 mins while the barman performed the worst Tom Cruise 'Cocktail' impression you never want to see. The manager then pushed straight in and ordered her drinks. Never go here unless you want to pay at least 100 quid to watch the manager think only of herself.

Truly a sad place. Average music, cheap management, and the place smells. I have been twice. The first time we spent over £400 and they were overly submissive, allowing us to stay in after they closed. The second time we had a few drinks and they were just rude. Stay away from it.

I'd say this is probably about the worst place I've been to in London.

The door staff are rude (I could say a lot worse than that if I knew I could... to say I was disgusted by their behaviour would be an understatement). The bar staff are rude. Go downstairs and it is pitch black. The music is average. Even if you wanted to dance you couldn't as there's barely enough room to lift your drink to your mouth from it being too crammed. The drinks are overpriced.

I implore you not to go.

Bustling bar but service too slow and one barman totally rude.

An OK place to go. The main highlight is the bongo player, but as soon as he stops the place becomes a bit dull.

Went here for a party. The atmosphere was OK but it was the attitude of one particular barman that shocked me. He was so rude and, to be honest, when I complained the management didn't seem to care. Wouldn't go back because of it. There are much better bars with bar staff that are actually civil.

Fantastic night on Sat 6th Aug, the DJ and bongo players rocked the place. Can't wait to go back!
