Kemia Bar (Momo) reviews
The Momo bar is amazing, a definite thumbs up for anyone who's not sure about going. I've never been askd to write a review for places I go to, so this shows how good it was.
The sheesha (strawberry flavor) is a must to try!
The atmosphere is middleclass boho teenager with a Moorish exoticism fetish, complete with cheap lanterns, rugs and incense.
Definitely not beau travail. Being rich gets you a service and a seat. Being vacuous helps you to mix with the crowd.
Having no taste in fashion, music or art is de rigueur here. Pretension is a must. N.B celebrities will be rewarded with much grovelling.
The place deserves a medal. I can always rely on the Kemia to provide the right atmosphere, the coolest people, and above all fantastic music to turn any evening into one to remember.
by DQ, 08 Feb 2006excellent cocktails but members only. Book a table in the restaurant and arrive early if you want to try out the basement bar. Beautiful Moroccan decor and friendly staff. Not cheap but if that's what you want, try Chicago's!
by A RUSH (2 reviews), 02 Nov 2005Original atmosphere, gorgeous waitresses! I would recommend this but don't get fooled by the prices... expect to pay 100 pounds for two people dining there, without alcohol.

by capital girl "top london reviewer" (59 reviews), 03 Feb 2005Very cosy and fun bar for a few late night drinks with friends. Cocktails are great and service fairly quick and friendly. Not too easy to get into as it's mostly members only or private bookings.
