Kemia Bar (Momo) reviews
One of the best bars in London. I often hire the place for parties and would recommend it for sure.

Absolutely fantastic from beginning to end. Very friendly and down to earth service, divine food, and great atmosphere - all in both the restaurant and Kemia bar.

Never had such trouble as the person below experienced. Excellent service, great cocktails, music jumping all night, a significant lack of ostentatiousness... Enjoyed my evening thoroughly, left gone 3am and wasn't a member.

Interesting... Got seated at a table at approx 9pm. We ordered drinks through until 12.30am. At 1am, with a drink still in my hand, we were asked to leave the premises since it was a 'members only' bar from 11.30pm. We were literally escorted out! No one told us at any one point what the policy was and they continued to let us buy drinks. The manager came to speak to us to explain what had happened but he couldn't string a sentence together. Eventually he gave us cash from his own wallet to shut us up! I think this one is for the trading standards!

Fantastic magical downstairs lounge. Got to hear a super hot band from Niger for nothing. What a wonderful and intimate treat. The person at the end of the phone was very helpful and friendly about the lack of cover charge etc. Will always check it out when I am in London.

I went to Momo's on Sunday after hearing much hype about the place... we chose to sit outside as it was a warm day. We were met by a rude gentleman who didn't even acknowledge us before we went in, and later lashed at us that we need to first check with a blonde lady to sit us down. The waitress was equally rude and several customers left the place because they went getting any attention. I left with little desire to come back.

The Momo bar is amazing, a definite thumbs up for anyone who's not sure about going. I've never been askd to write a review for places I go to, so this shows how good it was.
The sheesha (strawberry flavor) is a must to try!

The atmosphere is middleclass boho teenager with a Moorish exoticism fetish, complete with cheap lanterns, rugs and incense.
Definitely not beau travail. Being rich gets you a service and a seat. Being vacuous helps you to mix with the crowd.
Having no taste in fashion, music or art is de rigueur here. Pretension is a must. N.B celebrities will be rewarded with much grovelling.

The place deserves a medal. I can always rely on the Kemia to provide the right atmosphere, the coolest people, and above all fantastic music to turn any evening into one to remember.

excellent cocktails but members only. Book a table in the restaurant and arrive early if you want to try out the basement bar. Beautiful Moroccan decor and friendly staff. Not cheap but if that's what you want, try Chicago's!

Original atmosphere, gorgeous waitresses! I would recommend this but don't get fooled by the prices... expect to pay 100 pounds for two people dining there, without alcohol.

Lovely but tiny basement bar. Pretty difficult to get into even if you have a table booked upstairs.

Very cosy and fun bar for a few late night drinks with friends. Cocktails are great and service fairly quick and friendly. Not too easy to get into as it's mostly members only or private bookings.
