Kyashii has four dining areas serving contemporary Japanese food, and the VIP mezzanine has a private bar, DJ and views over the lounge bar and St Martin's Lane. In the lounge bar drinks are served alongside sushi, sashimi, Robata and sharing menus; there's even a patisserie bar serving traditional French/Japanese cakes for those with a sweet tooth.

DO NOT COME HERE FOR PRIVATE PARTIES! I organised an end-of-year press party on behalf of my client just before Christmas and it was a disaster. On the first meeting at the club with the client, the club was closed and all correspondence from then on was a struggle. At that point I should have known to go somewhere else but the client loved the venue. On the night, there was nobody on the door, and the food was so small and overpriced we had people complaining. I spoke with the club after the event and they promised half the money back for the food, which I have in writing. That was 4 days before Christmas and after trying to call every day 3 times a day, they have still not sorted out the refund.
I have been treated with utter disrespect, contempt and fed lies from day one. Go anywhere but here and don't be swayed by the glamour.

Such a great club - nice hang out place in London.

Absolutely stunning decor, both inside and out (love the yellow lit patio!). Black bar upstairs is sleek; however, cocktails not great and very small amounts! Food is delicious but very overpriced. Not enough waiting staff for a busy Friday night.
Would go back just for a glass of fizz but not for food.

I dined at Kyashii a few weeks after it opened and was pleasantly surprised by the brilliant cooking. I assumed it would be primarily a bar with a restaurant attached, and consequently didn't expect much from the restaurant, but the food definitely deserves a visit on its own merits.
So food-wise hard to fault. Service was good, decor impressive, but perhaps a few too many fish tanks and slightly labyrinthine layout; I got slightly lost after the second bottle of wine.
Top floor bar was pretty good too.
