Brilliant bar, one of my favourites in an area that isn't exactly starved for decent bars. Ignore Loungelover - T's much less pretentious and has excellent drinks. Especially good during the week. If you like cocktails and you're especially nice to the Aussie barman he'll make you off-book drinks which are a-mazing. Just don't expect the other bar staff to make them for you when he's not there, as all you'll get are blank stares.

Carpet Burn is my favourite night there, it's done by two beardy blokes who have a good taste in early nineties rave and techno / disco.

Wicked and fun bar where the cool kids go to drink. Gay bingo on a Sunday (once a month, I think) is a definite must - it's hilarious!

I went on a Thursday night and thought it was great. A great place to hang out with friends and a very different crowd to the one you find in the West End or further out, much nicer.

Although the drinks are very pricey!

Excellent crowd. I was probably the least cool person there, but enjoyed hanging out with the cool kids (especially the guy wearing the chest-less unitard under a trench coat, and his mate the Andy Warhol lookalike). Great tunes too, and a good mixed crowd.

Awful bar. I have never come across such a loathsome and egotistical door staff in my life. Apparently they are looking for a certain look, so if you want to get in, wear very bright colours that don't coordinate, look scruffy, don't shower for a week and you'll just be fine.

For a bar as part of the design space for Mother, the advertising agency, I was very disappointed...

A very cool bar with something for everyone. Gets busy but you don't feel crowded. I've been there a few times and have always had a great time.

I went there Friday and really enjoyed myself. The music was really good, danced all night, the crowd was friendly - not the usual Shoreditch twats! Although the wine was nice it was a bit too pricy.
