Equipped with a penthouse cinema, The Exhibit is a cocktail bar and restaurant with a twist. The aptly named ‘Daily Scream' is a matinee screening every Mon-Thurs that offers parents/carers with babies under one the chance to enjoy the cinema without the worry of disturbing others. Evening and late night screenings follow the matinees. Food and drink are available throughout the day. The stylish cocktail bar comes to life at night.
The Exhibit reviews
My girlfriend and I went to the Balham Exhibit for drinks and dinner last night. The service was excellent and the decor is just as cool as it always has been, although now starting to look a little 'used'. But our main problem was the food. I ordered a house burger which was cold and tasted just like a Burger King Whopper (maybe it was..?) with no special relish just an overload of onions. My girlfriend had the pesto chicken. It was sold as breast but also turned up partly on the bone and the pesto/tomato sauce had a slight meaty/fishy taste.
To top it off, the other reason for the evening was to watch a film in the cinema on Level 3 afterwards. Although the price seemed very reasonable at £3 each, it was delayed by half an hour. Thankfully the manager understood that we weren't happy and gave us vouchers to return another night. A shame - the staff there are excellent but food and service are going downhill rapidly.

The top floor cinema was a real find at The Exhibit - comfy leather sofas to slide into and a bar next door for all our needs... Well worth a visit!
