Martin Kleiser reviews
Needlessly and rudely condescending members of staff and limited range of stock make this a nasty little shop that you should avoid at all costs.

Beware - I tried to buy a system from them but was seriously misinformed at point of sale before my order was forgotten. No clue and no class. Won't be going back.

Fantastic people, great service! I got a 5.1 B&W speaker system which sounds amazing, even though they are pretty much entry level kit. I was given an excellent demonstration after which I couldn't resist! Recommended.

Went to Martin Kleiser to see what was on offer in the sale they had running. Spoke to Mr Steve Martin himself who, although he's a very busy guy, made me feel that my custom was extremely important to the business. He spent an hour with me looking at lots of two channel options and I ended up purchasing a great-sounding system at around the £1,500 mark. He was a very well-informed guy who explained in layman's terms (for my simple mind) what each system did and why. It seems they have really turned themselves around.

Visited during their sale period and was met by a pleasant salesman who was very helpful (did not have a complete knowledge of all things but knew how to get the answer).
Did not buy anything but will go back.

Just checked in to try to audition some mid-range speaker systems (£1k mark) - I've never heard such ill-informed gibberish in my life as spouted by the sales guy. In too much shock to recall any precise details - highlights included recommending 5 identical B&W M1's 'for a 5.1 system', and explaining that a subwoofer would be a waste of time - and going off on a rant about how 'all music is the same', when I suggested that some systems might reproduce a 3-voice jazz recording differently to an opera.
Absolutely unbelievable. Run a mile.
