Baglioni reviews
I was amazed by the concierge of this hotel. I made a call to ask a couple of questions about Baglioni, as I was intending to book a room. However, I lost all interest after this guy hung up, having told me that he was way too busy to answer simple questions! Surely someone as rude as this should not be working at supposedly one of the best hotels in London?
by y o, 20 Mar 2008Staff were really nice but, like other reviews have noted, the service was a bit overkill (when 4 bellmen help out, who do you tip??) And it was dirty - being so dark it was easy to disguise, but we all got sick from the dust.
Bathrooms were the worst. Cheapy fixtures in the bathroom broke easily, like the bathtub drain. No sink space to put anything on and the shower was a joke. We asked, and the only tub like the one in the pics is in the spa.
You can skip this one.
Stayed for two nights recently. This was my fourth stay, and I would recommend it. Good restaurant, and rooms (suites at least) are cosy and well decorated.
However, I've noticed a slight drop in level of service recently, and they need to clean rooms more thoroughly.
Read about it GQ and Wallpaper*. Went. Had an amazing time. Am looking forward to going again.
Service was excellent as was the decor. The only slight downfall was the bar prices, however, I would not hesitate to go again.
We stayed in a super deluxe room and had a wonderful stay. The decor was refreshingly modern whilst still being cosy. The room was a good size and the free movies were an added bonus. The location was also great, being opposite Kensington Gardens. Would definitely recommend it.
