45 bedroom hotel just off Sloane Avenue offering feng-shui-inspired design, spa treatments, and the mybar cocktail bar. A charming but chintz-free hotel.

myhotel Chelsea reviews
Had no confirmation of booking or replies to emails, room was poky and noisy and not properly prepared, decor was grim, staff repeated customer service mantras without understanding them or remembering they'd already asked you, no connection at all. The brochure says "Where Sex In the City meets Brideshead Revisited" - myhotel Chelsea is more like "Where YMCA meets Travelodge". Far too expensive for what it is. It was clean and the bed was comfortable at least, but they can't hide the facts that (a) it's a converted tenement, and (b) the staff don't give a stuff.

I took advantage of lastminute.com's special deal of 3 courses and a glass of wine for £12.95 on a Saturday with three friends, and we could not have had a nicer evening. The atmosphere and decor in the restaurant of MyHotel was calming and serene, the couches for lounging were seriously comfortable, the service impeccable, and the food was delicious. A bargain!
The only gripe I have is about the cocktail I ordered, which didn't come in a cool funky glass as is the norm and which tasted suspiciously watery. Despite this, I would seriously recommend MyHotel Chelsea and am definitely going back soon. Apparently they do an afternoon tea to rival the
Ritz, with unlimited types of tea provided - am dying to try it!
