Rockwell Hotel reviews
Got this hotel off of Priceline for £117 per night, which was definitely good value for London. The hotel was only a few blocks from Earls Court tube station and buses that go straight into the heart of the city. The rooms were small but comfortable. The staff were warm and helpful in all of our requests.

It’s a good hotel if you wish to sleep in a broom cupboard. You will need a room at the back if you wish to sleep - traffic is noisy and the lights that illuminate the front (2 on every window) are on all night.
Also, beware of extra charges on your bill! Check it carefully.
Do not fall into the breakfast trap: included in your room rate is Continental breakfast (£9.50); if when at breakfast you decide to opt for the English breakfast (£12.50) expecting to pay the £3 difference, no, you pay £12.50. Similarly, if you would you like coffee with breakfast, black is OK but cappuccino an extra £2.50.
Would we stay again? NO way. Would we recommend it? NO way.

Obviously the staff at the Rockwell have been very busy writing their own reviews on this site. I recently stayed at the Rockwell and could not have been more disappointed. Not only were the staff inconsiderate and completely unhelpful, but the room was much smaller and older than I expected. Please do not rely on their website - the rooms look nothing like that!

The Rockwell is an exceptional hotel with efficient and friendly service and large rooms. Crucially for us the rooms have a lot of natural light, as my wife has poor vision. But the big Victorian windows are a bonus for anyone and the rooms are very elegantly appointed.
Another thing that makes the hotel stand out is its garden. For central London it is huge. I was there at the weekend and was able to have some barbecue, which didn't disappoint. I will have good memories of the time we spent there.
