others don't even bother to try (e.g. will just tell you they don't know or stock a product without bothering to look).
Lovely person applied some makeup for my daughter going to a party; next visit, another assistant clearly had no interest and although the shop was empty, said she had 'no time'!
Recently tried to phone to enquire about product availability - no answer after several attempts over a few days, so gave up.
Final insult was going into the store and checking at the counter for a product while a very rude makeup assistant with an overactive ego huffed and puffed as if I was using up too much of her airspace, while she coldly applied makeup to her victim.
Why is there such variability in staff? Are they not all trained to be friendly and helpful? These are expensive and treatful products and the service and attention to detail should be part of that luxury package.

There is always something neat and gifty here to save me at the last minute, great product, good layout but poorly displayed pricing. It can take a huge amount of time to get through check out as the staff might help a regular or demanding customer for up to 15 minutes while I hold my purchases under the world's most highly powered indoor lighting.
