Alimentari reviews
This used to be a really great Italian cafe/deli. But now it has been taken over by two women who seem to know little about food but more about extracting money from customers. I was asked if I wanted salad with my croque monsieur and then found that £4 was added to the bill for a few bits of iceberg lettuce with balsamic vinegar on it. Disgraceful! Bring back the old Alimentari!

A fabulous local deli with the best lasagna baked fresh daily. Also my favourite Sicilian wine is sold here that I can't seem to find anywhere else, and now that the patio is open I am having many more working from home cappuccino breaks here!

Alimentari has become my secret weapon for dinner parties. Had them cater a bridal shower, a Xmas lunch and a friend's birthday party. Not only is the food delicious, it's freshly made, well priced and comes with great service and the most beautiful delivery packaging I've ever seen! I recently found time to stop in with a friend for a glass of wine and their Alimentari Platter (mix of cheeses, meats, sundried tomatoes, artichokes...). Was transported to Italy for a few hours!
