Mise-en-Place reviews
Mise-en-Place has a sign outside referring to it as a deli 'for local people'. However, I found the service inside to be snotty and rude (particularly the girls behind the counter), and not exactly a welcoming atmosphere. On weekdays though it is usually quiet and a lot more accommodating. The food and produce are top-class and baked goods are great... just a shame about the pressurised attitude.

Fantastic little deli that always accommodates your requests - like delicious home made baguettes of freshly carved turkey & chilli jam, or the finest honey/oak smoked ham with mature cheddar with fantastic chutneys. I love their coffee, flavoursome without being bitter, and a milky latte is the finest antidote to a cold snap when taken with a wedge of chocolate nutty flapjack or pastry. My favourite deli.

The food is great but the service is absolutely dreadful. One girl in particular is very rude. I have been in there twice in the last week and both times have received the same surly "can't do" attitude. The manager is good though. Shame about this particular girl!

Whilst delis come and go, this one has been providing SW11 (and surrounds) with its mouth-watering foods and superb wines for years now. Having moved away from SW11, I returned recently and was delighted to see that the standard of presentation, service and importantly sourcing (higher end supermarkets cannot compete as they are driven by inferior motives) continue to remain impeccable. I can smell it now! I miss this place!
