Rippon Cheese Stores reviews

Good selection, but some cheeses that have gone off are still on the shelf... That's a shame.

A wonderfully traditional quality cheese store with knowledgeable, friendly staff. The best I have come across by far, well worth travelling from Windsor to.

I live in Hampshire and found the best cheese biscuits at Rippon. They are made with fresh lovage from 'Shropshire Fine Herbs' - really delicate and fab tasting. Happily, I can now get them from my local deli in Alresford.

The best cheese shop in London for quality, service and appreciation of their superb products, which are cared for and loved. A truly wonderful shop.

Excellent cheese and, more importantly, service with a smile and a sense of humour! When I move out of the area I'll certainly keep coming back.

Great selection and good prices, but I have found the staff to be very curt.

I honestly think this is the best cheese shop in London. Not only are the staff hugely knowledgeable, they will really listen to what it is you want from a cheese and provide a superlative service. They have maturing cellars downstairs, which means that they can gauge the condition of the cheeses before selling - those days of solid Brie de Meaux are gone! The shop itself is so old fashioned and yet so refreshing.

Extremely well informed and helpful staff. A vast range of English, Welsh, French and Irish cheeses. They also stock some delectable but seriously pricey cheese biscuits. I love it mostly because the staff wear bowler hats and striped aprons - fabulously old fashioned!

This is a quality cheese shop stocking mostly continental cheeses. The prices are somewhat more reasonable than the likes of Le Fromagerie.
