Joseph is the worst excuse for a hair salon that I have ever had the misfortune of wasting both my time and money in.
They began by 'slagging off' my hair (what a welcome to a supposedy luxurious top salon) and then proceeded to not only butcher an unreasonable quantity of my hair without consent but also drastically fail to dye my hair the correct colour (not even showing me a colour chart!). I also found them extremely rude and unprofessional.
When they asked if I would like a drink, they spent two hours searching for a tap and a scabby glass. Personally, after waiting that long in a dehydrated state I had expected them to bring me water from the peak of Mount Everest in a freshly sculpted diamond glass!
I paid £240 to have my hair destroyed by an incompetent, rude, chav-like sorry excuse for a hairdresser, who found it amusing that she had cut her own finger 3 times in one session. She also joked in a shocked manner about having several complaints that morning. I found the fact she was shocked more of a joke. On top of this, having my hair washed felt like my head was being put through a food processor, and the sight of her finger only added to the illusion.
Eventually, after four hours of expensive torture, I left the salon looking a mess. After a few steps I could no longer handle the events that had just unrolled and turned, crying, to my friend (who I'm surprised stayed by my side under the physically shocking circumstances).
In short, don't even consider going to this house of horrors. Anyone who believes that they have had a nice haircut (etc) from here must be seriously delusional. You are better off spending your cash at a different hairdressers.

My local Joseph store is really cool. Just bought myself a black Joseph mini skirt and it's just wonderful to wear.

Boring stores and really impolite shop assistants in the men's branch. A shame, because Joseph could be a really cool concept store.
