Was treated so poorly, all I wanted was to be smiled at! The tall girl was too busy reading emails with her back turned, to even manage to help me. When she finally turned around she eyed me head to toe, said hello, and turned around again! I expected much better. Shame.

I had nothing but a great time on my last visit to the Davies Street shop. The place looks amazing now after they polished it up and the staff are friendly and know a thing or two about the history of the grand dame. I am getting married next year and had booked an appointment to look at the bridal collection. The new manageress is really personable and spent almost two hours with us to try everything on, while we were sipping coffee and tea. I am totally sold on one of the gorgeous corseted dresses. What an amazing time. Shame they don't advertise this shop more, as it is a much friendlier shop than the Conduit Street branch. Well done, highly recommended.

Shocked to read this - don't agree at all with the last lady's opinion. Went there a few days ago and a tall girl helped me choose amazing dresses. Had always felt intimidated about going into a designer store like this in the past, but was made to feel very welcome and at ease. Lovely experience and my expectations were met, so will definitely be returning in the near future.

Laura-Anne, you were lucky. I had one of the worst shopping experiences of my life in the Davies Street shop. Had ordered some shoes to be collected and arrived to pick them up. Four staff memebers were huddled around another customer, fawning over her, and I stood waiting for at least 5 minutes. All of them made eye contact with me and ignored me. I actually asked, once she had left, "Am I invisible?". Only then did they look from one to another and eventually someone assisted me. I will not return to be treated like dirt. What a bunch of stuck-up, self-important bitches work there.

After having a bad experience at the Westwood Conduit St branch I was a bit nervous of this shop. I was looking for a particular pair of shoes. Amazingly, the service at this shop was wonderful! A much more boutique-y atmosphere with lovely staff who were extremely helpful in tracking down the shoes I was looking for. What a surprise after my experience at their other branch! This is the high-end collection shop, so I don't know if that makes a difference to the training, but what a lovely shopping experience! Recommended.
