Harlem reviews
I went to Harlem with friends last week. Being from the US it seemed a logical choice for a night out and we were not disappointed. It was amusing to see so many people drinking Lonestar beer which, although very nice, only costs a dollar at home. Great collection of bourbons too, more than I've ever seen.
by Harvey Denton, 21 Jan 2008Was there last Friday. Fantasic DJ playing some really cool 70s/ 80s tunes but none of the naffness you would expect... think funk through nu wave. Loads of sexy people and top notch drinks. Get down early though, as it's £10 in after 10pm.
by westbournechick, 08 Nov 2007Went for drinks here last night. Amazing cocktails. Check out the punch that they set on fire!
by nottinghillbilly, 27 Sep 2007Went there for lunch about a few months ago.
The food was good, the server friendly. However, it was not the best hamburger I have ever had.
Went here the other night for dinner but I would call it more of a bar, appearance-wise, and the food was surprisingly great. Had corn fritters to start and then my partner had the fried chicken and I had the "blackened" sea bass. Not really blackened... I would say "tanned", but the fish was nicely done. Topped it off with a light blueberry cheesecake and a nice espresso. Our waiter David was extremely pleasant. Nice choice but I was overdressed.
by Sooz, 12 Aug 2005Have been twice - once on a Saturday night, and once for a late weekend lunch. Shocking service and average food - don't really know what the fuss is all about. Had a good night in the bar downstairs, although the music was a little of the cheesy side.
