by bubblehpants, 23 Apr 2008Went to Plan B last night. I got there early and purchased tickets for myself and my 3 mates and explained that we would come back later. At the time there was a short queue for those with tickets and a much longer one for those who didn't have them.
When we returned a couple of hours later there was one single massive queue and they were operating a 'one in, one out' policy. We waited for about 30 minutes and hardly moved.
In effect this club was selling tickets even though it did not have the space. So, after collectively spending £40 we never even got in. I can't believe that a club could operate in this way. They should not sell tickets in advance if they cannot guarantee entry in a reasonable time period.
Whatever you're looking for, it's there. One of the most laid back places in London (but still so so classy).
by kliodejaneiro (2 reviews), 18 Oct 2006Went on a Friday and it was great, the best night out I've had in a while. It was laid-back, stylish, funky, the music a good mix of soul, hip hop, funk, r'n'b new and old. Will definitely be going again.
by Chi-chi, 16 Oct 2006I love the decor, settings, the atmosphere is cool and the bar staff are really quick and friendly, they even do cocktails in a Tom Cruise style. Will definitely go back there again!
by Anonymous, 31 May 2005Been going to Plan B since it opened and had a great time each visit. Bar staff our friendly and know their stuff. Music and the crowd are jumping, especially on Fridays.
by Anonymous, 10 Mar 2005Top night on a Saturday, have been going along for last 3 or 4 months. Early doors sees some nice disco / hip hop and funk before house takes over.
by Anonymous, 19 Oct 2004Excellent bar. Most people come here for the music but it's the drinks that really make this the best bar in Brixton. The list is superb and if you're in any doubt, speak to Andy, he'll mix you something that is undoubtedly heaven sent!
