Sosho reviews
Door staff extremely rude. Kept people queuing for 30 minutes before letting them OUT to have a cigarette. Friend had a panic attack and the bouncer pushed her over as she was trying to leave. Cannot get a drink or move once inside, no room in cloakroom either. Terrible place.
by Brads, 25 Mar 2008Awful place and really bad service. Someone should train staff (especially the manager!) on customer service - sentences like "The manager doesn't like to be disturbed by customers" should never be heard in the hospitality business. Laura, you should check your manual. Too bad, I used to be a regular since I live nearby. Plenty of places to go to, stay away!
by Patrick R, 14 Nov 2007It's terrible. Over-priced cocktails, uncomfortable seats, can't hear yourself think let alone speak to the people you're with, awful beer/wine, staff are slow, you have to squeeze past so many egos to get to the bar, bad layout, aircon is inefficient. What is this dive doing right?
by Cat03, 14 Jul 2006This bar has good music - the mixes are quite original. But the greatest thing is there are no chavs there! Finally, a quality bar with quality people. The decor is OK, the bar usually busy but you'll always get served. Above average.
by Missyjj3 (5 reviews), 26 Feb 2006Good atmosphere and quality drinks. I'd recommend it for a party night though, not a quiet drink. Another plus is that it's open late, so no movement required for us lazy bunch!
by Anonymous, 01 Dec 2005Awesome venue, great drinks and incredible music - be there for the Fridays when Dave Jones plays!
by Anonymous, 30 Aug 2005Thought this bar was everything you'd expect, funky surroundings, nice staff, good drinks, spacious and clean.
by GucciGal, 26 Aug 2005I don't feel as comfortable here as I do in their sister bar, Match in the West End. Same good cocktails are served though.
