The White House reviews
No VIP, no drink offers/specials, no food, charged my guests at the door without offering anything. NO SERVICE... NONE! They didn’t even have my guest list at the door, so virtually everything I had done and the time I had taken to put the list together was all for nought! I highly doubt I will ever book with them again. Just terrible...

I booked the sunken area on Friday for the Licked party and just wanted to say to the team at The White House "Thank You soo much for a great nite!". The music was great, the venue was perfect and staff were really cool. Can't wait for the next party!

We went to The White House on a Friday night. We were surprised with the way the whole place was decked out. Some night called Love Story, and what seemed like promoters were dressed up giving out CDs and sunglasses. It was fun (unlike some other nights I've been to!). Definitely going again at the end of the month for the next one. The only drawback was there was a long wait to get a drink, probably because it was so busy.

Laughable. Rude staff, overpriced warm beer in DIRTY glasses that had obviously not been washed since cleared from a table. Filthy toilets full of charlie heads sniggering in the cubicles. 80% blokes to a few nervous-looking, Essex-type girls. I could go on and on but after paying a tenner to get in this dive I think I should move on and try and forget one of the worst nights of my life. Avoid like the clap.

Being a new father I don't tend to go out much but last night I had the chance to visit The White House. One word: amazing!! A great place to let your hair down. Highly recommended.

I went to The White House last year and had a great time. On going last Saturday though, I found the door men and manager to be very arrogant and not in keeping with the chilled out bar I thought it was. I am left very disappointed in what I had thought was a cool place.

I went to The White House for the first time on Friday and was very impressed. The venue hits the right spot between a bar and a club. The promotion on the night was called Shiva and all the DJs were excellent - they kept me dancing all night!

The worst dining experience I have ever been through.
I have eaten here before (about two years ago), but that was before The White House gave up on being a restaurant – for that must surely be the case now.
My date and I arrived fifteen minutes before our booking (9 o’clock on a Friday night, by the way). We spent a long time trying to get a drink and being directed from one waiter to another before someone finally acknowledged that we had a booking at the restaurant.
The white wine was served warm. When I pointed this out (politely) to the waitress, she looked at me as if to say "What do you want me to do about it?" and told me that all the rest of the wine was warm as well, and that, if I left it, it was in an ice bucket so it would cool down eventually – very unsatisfactory!
To my amazement, we were then told that we need to hurry up because the kitchen was closing in ten minutes. They shouldn’t take table bookings at nine o’clock if they are then going to close the kitchen soon after, regardless of what stage the diners are at! All in all, unbelievably bad.

Went here on a Saturday night and had a brilliant night. DJs (Bassmonkeys) were fantastic and the place was rocking. Great crowd - a real mixture of people, friendly staff (including the door people). Only issue was that the drinks were on the expensive side.

Love this place! Saturday nights - great music (funky house), awesome atmosphere, can dance your socks off. Does get packed quickly so I advise turning up just before 12 to avoid the queues.

Absolutely fantastic! Only been once, spent all day on a Sunday up on the roof terrace. It was the best day I've had in a long time. Music, atmosphere, people... coolio!

The atmosphere on the weekday is totally different to weekend. On a weekday it's chilled out, roof terrace nice idea, mix of people. Weekend is lively full of mid-twenties getting down to pretty funky house. Like any bar targeting this kinda crowd, there is the "beautiful and loving ourselves" crowd but most are young, fun and up for it.
