Beautifully selected flowers by someone who has a real eye for quirky, pretty things. The Black Tulip stocks an ever-changing range (I've rarely seen the same things twice) and puts the elegant back into floristry. Not a 'corporate' bunch in sight and a sexy twist on the staples - like jewel black carnations. Just divine!

Rang up for a bouquet in a hurry. They were most helpful and very specific about what they could do and the time it would be delivered.

What a special find! I just discovered this little haven stocked with gorgeous, fresh and unusual flowers. The service was great - a hand picked bunch perfectly crafted by a sweet and charming woman with a really creative eye. I totally disagree with some of the comments made by other reviewers. I am definitely going back!

This is a lovely friendly shop which stands out from the crowd. It's not the cheapest but is certainly one of the most innovative florists around. Perfect for a special occasion. The flowers they supplied for my colleague's wedding party were really stylish and made a real impact in the room.

Excellent service and always very accommodating.

The first time visited The Black Tulip was when they first opened. I walked in and I was completely ignored by staff. When I tried again a few months ago, exactly the same thing happened. The last time, the assistant was on the phone to a friend talking about a recent trip to India and didn't even bother acknowledging my presence. Yes, they do have lovely flowers, but I'll be spending my money elsewhere. Pod, a florist just a few doors away on Exmouth Market is friendlier, less expensive and has far less attitude. Black Tulip does NOT deserve your money!

Overpriced and odd.

With the recent introduction of many new commercial florist companies in the London market, working with the Black Tulip is a real pleasure. The quality of their arrangements is always superb, they always deploy the freshest materials and arrange them in the most elegant presentations. Their manager is a wonder and her employees are equally wonderful to work with - well trained, courteous and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.
