Exmouth Market reviews
I concur with the views of gdvbqz (a difficult name to pronounce!). I was in Exmouth Market at lunchtime on Saturday 1 March and there was not a single stall. A waiter in the (very good) Medcalf restaurant said he had worked there for some months and had seen hardly any market activity. What a shame.
by John Holland, 03 Mar 2008I went there Friday afternoon and there was hardly anyone there. There were just a couple of stalls and they seemed to be closing up. The market is supposed to be open till 6pm on Fridays. If all the stalls have gone by 3.30pm then they should say so and not waste people's time.

Run by the organisers of Broadway Market, this is sure to become another fine example of a market offering local, good quality produce. Try the veggie Indian stall - food from heaven!

Vietnamese coffee, and fine cheeses. You can just hang out there and tantalise your taste buds!
Really good place to know about. I work in Clerkenwell and happened upon Exmouth Market a few Fridays ago. Lots of lovely food stalls from which you can do your proper weekly shop (plus always lots of tasters going round). It's a lovely street anyway for food lovers, particularly with Moro restaurant, so it's fantastic that there's now a street market to join all the great shops and restaurants.
