Wimbledon Farmers' Market reviews

A fabulous, spacious venue and fun for children too. We love the Gloucester Old Spot, sausages and Marsh Lamb. The flowers are fresh and varied and excellently priced. The bagged fruit and veg is great value - three bags of apples, pears and spuds for £3. Regular visitors also include tomatoes from the Isle of Wight, cheeses, artisan breads, cakes, apple juice, homemade pies and game. Also excellent is the organic chicken from Kent. I love this market and often take my kids, as they enjoy having a wander around and a free-range lamb or beefburger with homemade chutney!

Popular market selling fruit and veg, bread and cakes, meat, herbs etc. The organic bread is a little pricey but good; worth the extra for getting it wrapped in paper instead of disgusting plastic like supermarket bread - ugh! The organic lamb from Suffolk is also good. Could do with more organics - herbs, for example. Get there early to avoid missing out!
