Almeida reviews
Decent service. Good wine list. The food was decent enough. I had the crab for starter and that was just ok. I had pork for my main and that was delicious. My husband had the lamb and that was really good too. For the mains, portion size is very small though - it should have been a third larger and it would have been perfect.
Would I go back? Yes I would.

Former head chef, Ian Wood, has done a great job creating a fantastic menu. I loved his cookery class - that was the best demo/class ever!

Went back to the Almeida last week for the first time for a while. The chef had changed but the food was as good as ever. The a la carte menu is very good value.

Relaxed and superb. I keep coming back. Good value for money: 3 courses for under £30, from the a la carte menu. Service very attentive, but in a relaxed and professional manner.

An excellent dining experience. Service, food and wine are all spot on.

The food is superb and the waiters couldn't do enough for us - although one was slightly too attentive and kept trying to take our plate away when we weren't quite finished. Overall a very enjoyable experience but at over £100 for starters, main and a bottle of wine for two people, you'd want it to be.
