Almeida reviews
Former head chef, Ian Wood, has done a great job creating a fantastic menu. I loved his cookery class - that was the best demo/class ever!
by princess micia, 27 Oct 2007Went back to the Almeida last week for the first time for a while. The chef had changed but the food was as good as ever. The a la carte menu is very good value.
by FRAMMY (3 reviews), 13 Aug 2007Relaxed and superb. I keep coming back. Good value for money: 3 courses for under £30, from the a la carte menu. Service very attentive, but in a relaxed and professional manner.

by ICOT (8 reviews), 22 Jan 2006The food is superb and the waiters couldn't do enough for us - although one was slightly too attentive and kept trying to take our plate away when we weren't quite finished. Overall a very enjoyable experience but at over £100 for starters, main and a bottle of wine for two people, you'd want it to be.
