It was a very disappointing experience. The tagliatelle with foie gras and truffles arrived overcooked; my main course of scallops (£17) turned out to be six 10 pence sized, 1cm thick scallops on a bed of tomato puree that tasted like it came straight from a can. The plates were large but portions very small. My date and I had to keep asking for bread because we were still hungry.
To cap it all, the ambiance of the place was ruined by the head waiter barking orders and the overly loud club music that was being played in the club below.

It was fairly quiet when we visited early in the week but I expect this will change as more people find it. The menu featured unpretentious, well prepared classic French dishes - French Onion Soup and Moules Marinieres were both great and the wine list was well chosen and well priced. Friendly service too.
