Nice food and okay service. All in all, not a bad place. Just nothing to rave about.

For starters I had the squid with chilli sauce, which was average to say the least. I was expecting the main course to be a little better, as they were charging £52 for Wagyu beef with truffle. When my main arrived I received one of the worst dishes I have ever eaten in my life: bland, chewy, cold, with two wafer thin slices of old black truffle which had no taste (I'm sure they'd had it in the fridge for a few months). They tried to pass off a low grade cut of Wagyu beef as higher quality and then had the nerve to charge £52 a serve. It's ridiculous and an absolute rip off. When the waiter asked how my meal was, I told him what I thought. Instead of trying to apologise, he started arguing with me and telling me I was wrong!
The service in general was pretty terrible - they tried to rush everyone out so they could use the table again for other guests, and I had to ask four times if they could find my bottle of wine and pour me a glass as it was empty.
All in all, not a good experience.

The only problem is that it's quite a small-sized restaurant and there seems to be no space for a bar for waiting clients. So if your table is not ready you have to go out of the restaurant and downstairs to a basement club with quite a steep stairway in order to wait for your table.
