Michelin Star Restaurants in London
The Ledbury reviews
Problems in the kitchen meant very long wait for starter with no warning or apology, which would have stemmed the frustration significantly. Overdue, miniscule canape to soak up expensive champagne did not cut it. Copious bread - eating to compensate ruined all appetites and our double celebration never recovered its momentum.

9th December 2010: my birthday treat with my wife, son and 2 close (married) friends. Absolutely delightful food, matched by delightful personnel. Not the sort of place for 'steak and chips' anticipators, even if 'fillet'.

Really nice diner, a very pleasant surprise. All here represents good value and the food is really amazing. I’ll certainly go back there.

Incredible dining experience. I was blown away by food and service. Absolutely recommended.

Just got back from a weekend in London. My husband and I decided we wanted to eat in our first Michelin Star
restaurant and I am SO glad we chose this to be the first! It was absolutely faultless. The service was out of this world. From the second we arrived, it felt like we were the only people there (which we weren't) - even when it was busy the service never faltered. The food was the best food I have ever tasted, and the wine was perfect for the meal. The sommelier was fabulous, letting us try the bottle of wine he opened for us that was corked, as I had never tried it and was curious. The cheese board was amazing, and the waitress had such amazing knowledge and seemed to really care about the type of cheese that I liked and wanted. Honestly, it was the most amazing experience we have had and we will certainly be coming back!

The Ledbury provided a superlative setting for my daughter's wedding reception dinner - fabulous original menu and attention to detail. The staff did everything possible in the preparation and execution of a truly memorable occcasion. We shall return for the passion fruit souffle as often as we can.

Probably one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. This place currently has one Michelin star
but watch out, it might be two next year - it was that good. The best bit was the desserts, but it was all great. For main I had lamb and it was lovely. You have to try it.

I have just had a 3+ hour lunch with my friend. It was her treat for me for my 40th, and what a fabulous present that was! We had the full works and every single dish was DELICIOUS. The service was so friendly and John looked after us so well. I can't wait to bring the the rest of the family there soon. Highly recommended.

Visited last night. Thoroughly enjoyable dinner. I particularly enjoyed the recommendation for white wine - from Hungary. As nice a meal as I have eaten.

I am a chef myself, and I cannot find enough superlatives for this place. Food magnificent, menu crafted by a dedicated chef who is obviously passionate about his trade. Dignified decor, a perfect setting for the best service we experienced in Europe. Well done, and good to see so many Aussies and Kiwis doing so well in London. Everything exactly as it should be. Thank you, we will return.

We went as a family of four for a relaxed Sunday lunch at The Lebury. We had two children with us, aged 9 and 12. It was our first time taking them to a Michelin-starred
restaurant, as well as our first time at The Ledbury.
We felt at ease right from the very start. The service was fantastic from beginning to end, the staff so warm and friendly to our children. The meal was absolutely divine in every way, and we enjoyed every moment of it.
It was a lovely experience for us all. It is great to find a child-friendly Michelin-starred
restaurant. We love this place, and will most definitely be returning again soon.

Came from Malta to London to try some restaurants, as we are in the same business. In our opinion, after visiting other Michelin-starred
restaurants, the Ledbury is the best from start to finish, and we think it won't be long before it has another star.

I have been to the Ledbury on three separate occasions now and have yet to be disappointed. The decor and staff alone are to be commended but it is the food and wine where the Ledbury really comes into its own. It is now in my top three dining experiences. I will be back again, very soon.

It was our third visit last night and we were entertaining friends, but I am sorry to report that the fillet steak was tough. They very willingly replaced it but sadly there was no improvement. Otherwise everything was as impeccable and delicious as ever, and we really appreciated the chef specially making the chocolate souffle for us.

Great restaurant, with very friendly staff. An excellent wine list (my only criticism would be that the best value Marguax was out of stock).

Enjoyed Sunday lunch in the sunshine last weekend. Great food, great service - will be back on my next visit to London.

Wow - this place is fantastic. Each course was amazing and bursting with flavour. For the standard of food I think it is very reasonable and the service is superb. I will definitely be back!

Had the 8 course tasting menu. Amazing.

Have been many times and the Menu Degustation at £55.00 is nothing short of stunning in terms of quality, balance and value for money.
Very good selection of wines, particularly by the 1/2 bottle, and service is attentive without being invasive. They staff are highly professional and the team works well.
It may seem a little formal in the restaurant at first sight, but I encourage everyone to sit back, enjoy the experience and have some fun!

All the way from Australia to try it and definitely worth it! Food was absolutely stunning, words just aren't enough - you need to try for yourself.
Service was great and loved the 'No Smoking' policy! I highly recommend it and would visit again on my next overseas trip.
