Jan Moir's review of The Ledbury (The Telegraph)
The Ledbury reviews
Came from Malta to London to try some restaurants, as we are in the same business. In our opinion, after visiting other Michelin-starred restaurants, the Ledbury is the best from start to finish, and we think it won't be long before it has another star.
by nico, 23 Nov 2007I have been to the Ledbury on three separate occasions now and have yet to be disappointed. The decor and staff alone are to be commended but it is the food and wine where the Ledbury really comes into its own. It is now in my top three dining experiences. I will be back again, very soon.
by clairemol, 17 Sep 2007It was our third visit last night and we were entertaining friends, but I am sorry to report that the fillet steak was tough. They very willingly replaced it but sadly there was no improvement. Otherwise everything was as impeccable and delicious as ever, and we really appreciated the chef specially making the chocolate souffle for us.
by skilegs, 18 May 2007Great restaurant, with very friendly staff. An excellent wine list (my only criticism would be that the best value Marguax was out of stock).

by Anonymous, 16 Apr 2007Wow - this place is fantastic. Each course was amazing and bursting with flavour. For the standard of food I think it is very reasonable and the service is superb. I will definitely be back!
by Kirst, 23 Nov 2006Have been many times and the Menu Degustation at £55.00 is nothing short of stunning in terms of quality, balance and value for money.
Very good selection of wines, particularly by the 1/2 bottle, and service is attentive without being invasive. They staff are highly professional and the team works well.
It may seem a little formal in the restaurant at first sight, but I encourage everyone to sit back, enjoy the experience and have some fun!
All the way from Australia to try it and definitely worth it! Food was absolutely stunning, words just aren't enough - you need to try for yourself.
Service was great and loved the 'No Smoking' policy! I highly recommend it and would visit again on my next overseas trip.
Fantastic - I eat out a lot, but this is in my top 5 of all time. Beautiful venue too without pretension.
by zippy (3 reviews), 06 Apr 2006The food and service at this restaurant are wonderful. Have had the tasting menu three times and enjoyed it every time. Not disgustingly filling. The flavours are interesting and pleasing without being overwhelming. The Ledbury just gets everything so right. Better than Maze.
by yummymummy (3 reviews), 05 Feb 2006Amazing - absolutely exquisite! Service impeccable and the atmosphere lovely though a bit quiet - but that is what's to be expected on a Sunday afternoon. A delightful meal and will most definitely return!
by Anonymous, 24 Oct 2005Seriously good food and the staff were friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is rather formal and while it's not cheap, there's a 3 course lunch menu for £30 which we thought was good value for money considering the quality of the food.
