Other branches of Conran Shop in London:
Marylebone, MayfairConran Shop reviews
Ordered brand new table from factory. Was faulty when arrived. Conran admitted it was faulty but all they offered me was an apology. I am now stuck with a faulty table. Not great service and I have used them a lot. Never again!

The Conran Shop are utterly incompetent. I placed an order online in November for a Christmas present, they stated at time of ordering 3-5 days for delivery. After 2 weeks I chased up the order and 3 days later received an email response asking if I wanted to cancel. I replied saying that I did not want to cancel but I expected some compensation for the wait - e.g. a refund on the delivery charge.
A) Conran Shop had already taken money from my credit card before dispatching the goods (which they never dispatched); B) they took another week to reply to my email; C) they cancelled my order contrary to my request; D) they did not even apologise.
I will never shop with them again and I urge anyone thinking of making a purchase with them to go elsewhere.

I couldn't agree less with the reviews so far. These people belong in Ikea, and their comments in the land fill sites which is where all that Scandinavian crap is destined. So many British homes are uninspiring. People think nothing of spending a fortune on their cars but are buying cheap buying twice when it comes to furnishing their homes. Indicative of the shallow 'fur coat, no knickers' society in which we live. Conran's won't suit everyone, it's for people with integrity.

Cheap, tacky-looking furniture that costs a small fortune. Not worth it.

To say it's a prestige shop for furniture etc, the web site totally lets it down - I may have missed it but no mention of an e-mail to make contact. I was looking for wall lights but I think I'll look elsewhere.
