Taman Gang reviews
Second time I have been to this nightclub - first time was on my friend's birthday, and this time on mine. However, the staff were so rude when we were entering the club that I turned around and left.
It makes me laugh that the two promoters of Taman Gang are two people I went to university with and who still dj in the University of Kent. While Taman Gang staff continue to be rude at the door, inside in the VIP areas two delightful chavs walk around sipping their bottles of champagne (probably not bought) and getting wasted.
Not worth it for a night out. Stick to the original
clubs in Mayfair that are actual
clubs and not restaurants. In all honesty, this club is a disgrace.

Went to Taman Gang on Friday and had a great time. The decor of the club is very cool (in a similar style to Pangea when it was open) and the atmosphere is electric with everyone dancing round the tables. It was pretty crowded but to be honest it helped with the party atmos. If you want a full-on party atmosphere then this is certainly the place to be. As it's a restaurant earlier on, you can do the whole dinner-club thing if you're in the mood for it. The queues were pretty big the night we went, but my friend had a BLACK Card from londonparties so we sailed straight past the queue and straight in! A fabulous night!

Our booking was completely cocked up and they were so unhelpful and rude and dismissive that it was their fault. They did nothing to accommodate us on a Saturday night at 9pm for 6 people for my birthday. They have no idea about customer service and I will have no hesitation in slating their name. Rocca, on the other hand, were amazing in saving our evening.

Although the reviews I had found were controversial, we all thought the food was fantastic. The ambiance is great as well. It was fairly quiet on a Saturday night, which wasn't a bad thing for us!

The food was good, especially the starters but the girl who was serving us didn't have a clue about what was going on. Good atmosphere though.

Delicious food! Good service as well. Shame that the menu never changes. Liked the Kama Sutra pictures in the toilet!

Not bad - great atmosphere, although more pretentious than quality of food. Dumplings were soggy.

Amazing food - chichi crowd, expensive and a bit dark - but very memorable!

Great restaurant with great food but disappointed that the staff kept reminding us that they needed the table back by 9.00pm for next sitting.
